I spent days thinking about my first post, what it should be about, what it should look like, do I write it like a story, or like a bio section… and then I decided to just write it.
So, hello. I’m Natalia, and this is my website about copywriting.
What is this blog?
Every blog out there has a topic now. How to cook any meal using Skittles, How to dress buying the clothes only from Wish and AliExpress (which is an awesome idea, btw), How to drink alone and not text your ex-s, etc. Back in the day (aka Live Journal Era), people were just writing about whatever, how they went to get coffee in the morning and got splashed from a puddle by a cab. Today this is not interesting anymore. Because of this, I’m going try to keep this blog around topics of fitness, health, wellbeing, and quality of life. I think, these are important things, and a lot of us could benefit from working on them.
Why the name?
Because, like I said, here, on this blog page you’ll only read the most biased opinions, thoughts, and conclusions of mine. Every post is going to be based on my experiences exclusively, and maybe on a little bit of science and research. And also because I have a very low tolerance to bullshit.
I was born and raised in Crimea, Ukraine. I studied Linguistics and Translation at school with a focus on English and German. I lived in Germany in 2005-2006. Since then anything German has a sentimental value for me.
I speak 5 languages, Ukrainian, English, German, French, and Russian. Okay, 4.5. I am still working on my French.
I call myself a fitness enthusiast because I have been working out consistently for over 9 years, tried different kinds of fitness, liked most of them, and also because my ideas of fun include going for a short run or a long hike, doing some yoga on the beach at 6 am (I actually have never done that, but it does sound like fun to me. See, I promised you an Honest Blog). So I think it's safe to say that I learned to love fitness. I also love cooking, art, books, animals, and coffee. And wine.
What makes me an expert?
Nothing. By all means, I’m no expert in that area. I’m still struggling just like you. But I’m trying to improve, and maybe some things that I apply you would find interesting and useful, too.
