I’m Natasha, born and raised in Crimea, Ukraine, now living in Los Angeles, CA. I am a linguist and translator, a writer, an artist, a fitness enthusiast, a feminist, an immigrant, a queer woman, and many other things.
I went to school for foreign languages and got my Master’s in Sociolinguistics. I worked a lot in the tech field and with translations and lately, I found how to combine the two working in Localization. I speak 4 languages and am learning the fifth one.
My art journey started when I was around 5 years old. I would wake up early in the morning, go to my mother’s huge desk, and start doodeling until my grandma would come in and tell me that it’s time to wash my face. I never learned how to draw or paint professionally, except a few work-shops here and there. All I know came from books, YouTube tutorials, and practice.
My main ambition is to live an interesting, exciting life so that when I look back I would think “I had a god damn good time”.
My biggest belief is that the need for beauty and aesthetics is essential. When all basics are covered, we inevitably seek for something beautiful. I believe in slow living, mindfulness, hedonism.
This website is about me and things I love and create. Welcome ;)
